8月15日圣母升天节,东正教的神圣节日

圣母升天节(英语 Assumption Day,希腊语Κοίμηση της Θεοτόκου)是天主教和东正教的节日,又称圣母升天瞻礼、圣母安息日。在天主教、东正教的教义中,谓耶稣的母亲玛丽亚在结束在世的生命之后 ,灵体一齐被接进天堂 。

“圣母升天节”是天主教、东正教节日之一,旨在纪念传说中的“圣母荣召归天”,每年定于公历8月15日举行。

这是关于圣母玛利亚最古老、神圣的节日。教宗碧岳十二世于一九五零年十一月一日隆重声明,圣母灵魂与肉身一同升天为当信的教义,是天主启示的真理。此节日是圣母众多庆节中最大者。


圣母升天故事

一天,天使长加百列从天上下来,告诉圣母玛利亚她很快要被天国接纳,并赠予一根天堂的枣椰树枝,要她放在去世时的床榻钱。所有听说圣母即将离世的人聚集在一起,悲痛地恳求圣母不要离开。圣母劝他们不要难过,因为她将到主的宝座前,将见到自己的儿子,将更好地为所有人祈祷,帮助并保佑他们。圣母嘱咐将她安葬在客西马尼村的橄榄山旁,因为那里安葬着他的父母和约瑟夫。

8月15日,圣母安详地躺在漂亮的床榻上,突然一道神光出现,耶稣在天使的伴随下开到圣母身边说:“来吧我亲近的人,来进入永恒生命的保存所吧!”圣母起身向耶稣拜去,对他说自己已经准备好了。说完安然离开人世。
